I believe Kristina was getting mad at us for drumming. That may also have been when Mr. Hjorth grabbed Nate B's sticks and tried to take them, but Nate held on super tight.

Ah yes, the Drumline Revolution of 2004. Notice how it worked. It will be a day long remembered.

Oh yes, the Goldfish kissing game. What a master plan of mine. Hey, if you would like to get a little cheese on your lips, just send an e-mail and a few dollars, and I can make something happen. Sorry, no checks or COD's

Or reading the Jack Handy quotes. They are great

Hey, so, I don't have that many memories of drumline, since I've only been on it for a year, but I have some good ones.

So, remember when the very first tassles were swung? And Drew came to watch us and he was laughing his head off?
or when we died at the provo parade.
Or when it was our last wimpiest paprade (alpine I think) and I blacked out over by the dumpsters and shawn found me.
Or how how bassline wasn't set until the first day of band camp.
And the awesomeness of sinchronized fetal possition. and then Jake made that cool track for our skit, and all of the band's skits were dumb and ours was the best?
and when flutes did their dumb skit about who knows what, and andy comes zipping across the field in the golf cart, and we all started cheering, and the flutes thought we were clapping for them.
and when andy grabbed that scooter from the band room, made himself a little course, and sped around it.
And when griffin got kicked off for like a week, and we only had 3 snares.
and the countless beto's runs.
and the infamous insurrection at pineview.
and how craig shows up to every game.
and lauren...sweet sweet lauren
and the sharmticle particles
and how faires can't invest a bit of money to buy us some new equipment, but he can afford to take the whole band to see the incredibles.
Or when brittany uttered her first words and came out of her shell (image of tom)
and how after the vegas tour, we couldn't speak without an accent for days.
and how that crazy lady screamed at jake because nate pushed him into the pool.
as well as when jake and I stayed up for 3 hours after everyone else went to sleep and made coffee and tea in the toilet. and we made kool-aid in the bubbly bottle. and how griffin and I bought shrimp, and didn't eat any because I burned the cocktail sauce, and the shrimp were frozen.
and how we lost andy for a long time.
and when a few of us went up into the second floor via the training room, and explored. Then I thought that light fixture covers would make good sleds, but it turns out they are only good for one hour of community service, and one bat.

Wait, Dan are you talking about MY dad? Well it would make sense. Hey, so I have to put my two cents in. Um..I liked when you all sang Mulan Songs at the top of your lungs, that was fun, or when Craig stole my Trravelliny pillow, good for trravelinng, and tried to get two heads on there with a certain person. But Its ok cause I stopped them with my trravelling pillow, good for trravelling, and besides that (Craig will deny)only one head really can fit on there.

Spring Tour 2004 to San Francisco:
(Josef Kujanpaa stealing Nate and Jake's blanket)

Nate Barton, Josef Kujanpaa, Kory Hubble and I were in a room. We stayed up late watching TV and all of us fell asleep. Eventually, Josef and Kory made it into the other room with the bed and Nate and I stayed on the couch that pulled out into a bed. Just as Nate and I are drifting off again, Josef comes in from the other room, walks up to our bed, and pulls off our blanket. Nate and I wake in time to see him walking into his room with our blanket. "Was that Josef?" I tiredly asked Nate. He and I decided to just try to sleep without the blanket, but after about 15 minutes of shivering and not falling asleep, we decided to get our blanket back. We went into the other room and found Josef underneath our blanket. Nate grabbed it and started to pull, but Josef, still asleep, started pulling back. I grabbed the blanket and, together, Nate and I took it from Josef's firm grasp.

The rest of the night was uneventful, but in the morning we told Josef about the whole thing and he didn't remember anything, though he laughed at the thought of doing that.

Yes, that sparks a memory.

Jake and I had just gotten done making coffee in the toilet and laughing and being near-drunkeness for the last few hours. We were supposed to be in one bed, with Kyle and Girrfin in the other, and Craig on the couch. However, Griffin was sleeping in our bed, so we had to move him. He was sleeping with his eyes half open, so we just woke him, and he looked at us with sleepy eyes. I said "Griffin, go and sleep on the other bed", so Griffin went and started pulling the blankets out of the tucked corner of the bed. I urged him to go to the other bed, and he did.

Later that night, as Jake and I were in bed, talking about who knows what, Kyle starts stirring. We look over to see him ripping the blanket off of Griffin and himself. He eventually gets it all off, folds it into a little ball, and throws it at Jake and myself. Kyle then, still asleep, in a russian accent says "There you go."

I guess there is just a natural thing with half- sleeping drummers and blankets.

Using my camera on the bus on the way to Pine View:

So, this story begins with us messing around as usual in the back of the bus. Somehow it came to everyone's realization that when you take up-close pictures of leg and arm joints, they bear a disturbing similarity to a certain part of the body that you sit on. Anyhow, we took precisely 8 pictures like this with my camera and had many a good laugh at the results. (Especially Tom's hairy knee and Shawn's knee with a "I *heart* Mom" drawn on it)

But then the real fun started. We began holding the camera screen up to unsuspecting victim's eyes, anxiously awaiting their response of baffled disguist. Then the news spread throughout the band,(as things always do) and I had people actually asking me to see the horrid-looking images.

And yes, I still have those pictures, but I won't put them on the blog. I'll leave it up to your imagination/memory.

Band Camp Sleep-Over-at-Griffin's 2003

Well, I can't think of one main thing to describe about this sleepover, just a bunch of random things.

To begin, I believe it was Thursday night. I'm not sure if we had to go back to LP on Friday for band camp or if we had it off. Anyhow, Drew brought over Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack and we all marveled at it. Then I remember we played Perfect Dark on N64 for a while, and it got to be pretty late. Then we watched Billy Madison, clean-flicked by Griffin and the remote, and then some of us talked for another hour or so while others drifted off. I remember Drew or someone talking to Griffin while he was asleep. It was something like, "Griffin, are you awake?" after which Griffin just started lauging in his sleep.

Well, obviously, my memory of this is pretty vague. Does anyone remember this better than me?
